Process Description

Implementation of a full-scale technology solution can be a complex undertaking. The Solution Design, created in module 03b, defines the future state technical configuration.

Just as important is the plan for how to get to that future state – an Implementation Plan that synchronizes all of the activities involved in implementation, testing, training, and cutover. The goal is a smoothly run project where everyone understands their role and post-live issues are minimized.

Module 03c, Implementation Planning, provides the process framework for creation of a project plan and schedule that synchronizes implementation activities with the client’s business schedule. The completed Implementation Plan addresses sequence, responsibilities, and timetable for each aspect of the technology project.

This module consists of the Module Overview Diagram plus 9 pages of detailed process maps personalized for your company.
